Facial Image Data for Biometric Authentication

The Challenge

The client has highly particular collecting requirements based on many factors. The client needs to gather 2000 sets from each demography and several nations within that demographic in order to do it in a diverse and objective manner. The client requests 10 pictures of people in each set with various backgrounds and lighting. The customer further divides the need into age groups for men and women, including 18 to 30 years old, 30 to 45 years old, 45 to 60 years old, and 60 and older. .

The Solution

To fulfill this demand, we first gather sample batches from all of the demographics in our OTS databases, allowing the customer to review and confirm the request. We began onboarding crowds through our FutureBee community portal after receiving favourable feedback on trial batches. We were able to complete the remaining collection according to the provided guidelines in 7-8 weeks because to our extensive global network.

Educating the data contributors about the potential uses of the data and obtaining their signed written authorization were two additional crucial phases in the gathering process. One of the most important tasks was producing the metadata that gives the entire collection more clarity. We provided metadata for every 100000 photographs, including information about the subject's age, gender, country of origin, and demographics, as well as the proper renaming of each image.
